An original acrylic painting showing winter in the countryside.

I've tried to capture the feel of winter in this original creation. Using blending and careful brush strokes. Combined with my appreciation of colour and the stark contrasting hues I hope the chill of a winters'  day, with heavy snow filled clouds, really comes across.

The edges of the canvas is painted lilac, which doesn't show in the photos as much as in reality.
