This original bespoke artwork shows bees with a backdrop of bright yellow rapeseed fields and the striking, delightful blue sky of a summers day. They are amidst poppies and daisies etc and this art has bold, sculpted aspects using the thick paints.
I use high quality acrylic paints in my usual uplifting and joyful colours. My pallet knives create the artwork aswell as disciplined splashing and painting effects.
These abstracts really show the energy of the bees, I feel...never quite seeming to be still in the energy of the art. Very tactile and varnished in a gloss varnish to protect the colours.
Unframed, the artwork flows over onto the deep canvas edges, the artwork is also strung at the back ready for hanging.
