This original bespoke artwork shows a bee, buzzing around above wildflowers, including poppies and daisies, all set against a beautiful blue summer sky.
The bee and the flowers have abstract, sculpted aspects, using thick acrylic paints.
I use high quality acrylic paints in my usual uplifting and joyful colours. My pallet knives create the artwork aswell as disciplined splashing and painting effects.
These abstracts really show the energy of the bee, I feel...never quite seeming to be still in the energy of the art. Very tactile and varnished in a gloss varnish to protect the colours. Unframed, the artwork flows over onto the deep canvas edges, the artwork is also strung at the back ready for hanging.
