This beautiful uplifting original acrylic painting is a large piece of statement art.
 
The art shows a wild meadow in full bloom. This is any flower lover's dream, as the sun catches the blooms.
 
I've used contrasting greys against the bright yellows here, and balanced the creation with subtler purples and blues, then added a spark of red in the flowers on the bottom right.
 
This was a real labour of love and I used thin acrylics, with brushes but also pallet knives to build up the sumptuous textures in the piece.
 
Framed in a wooden frame that is painted grey and white to really lift the colours and depth.
