This piece is from the collection entitled 'Breathing Space' I wanted to portray a summer's day with the drone of insects carried on the breeze. The wildflowers are in full bloom and all is well with the world. This art shows the clearing of grey clouds to let the sunshine in.
 
With watercolour aspects, loose paint effects and thick textures, it really gives a feeling for a wildflower meadow under bright blue skies. I have painstakingly painted clouds to add extra depth to the artwork and there are exciting areas of fine gold and silver coloured detail within it. This artwork also features a cute impasto honeybee hovering amidst the flowers and a pink hand sculpted butterfly.
 
Painted with acrylic paints on board and varnished in a glossy high quality artists varnish, this artwork comes with a certificate of authenticity.
 
The frame is stunning and extra luxurious. Made from real thick wood and white in colour, with a slight grain effect to it. There is no glass in most of my framing so the textures can be fully appreciated.
