This original bespoke artwork shows six bees going about their business on a glorious spring day, there is a real sense of friendship here, hence it's title.
 
I use very thick acrylic paints in my usual uplifting and joyful colours. My pallet knives create the artwork aswell as disciplined splashing and painting effects.
 
These abstracts really show the energy of a bee I feel...never quite seeming to be still in the energy of the art. Very tactile, (the depth and texture to the paint is lost somewhat in photographs) varnished in a gloss varnish to protect the colours.
 
The edges of the canvas are painted in a modern grey colour and it is strung at the back ready for hanging. Size: 19.5 x 8 x 0.6 inches (unframed)
